  2. Rinse the cranberries under cold water and remove any stems or mushy berries.
  3. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine cranberries, orange juice, sugar, orange zest, and the cinnamon stick. Stir gently until well mixed.
  4. Bring to a gentle boil while stirring occasionally. Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes until the cranberries burst and the sauce thickens.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before transferring to a serving bowl. Discard the cinnamon stick.
