Instructions

  1. Trim excess fat from the pork shoulder and cut into large chunks. Season generously with salt, cumin, chili powder, and pepper.
  2. Sauté diced onion and minced garlic in a skillet over medium heat until fragrant (about 2 minutes), then transfer to a slow cooker.
  3. Pour orange juice over the seasoned pork in the slow cooker.
  4. Cook on low for about 8 hours until the meat is fork-tender.
  5. Shred the pork using two forks, mixing some cooking liquid back in for moisture.
  6. Warm tortillas and fill each with shredded pork, garnishing with cilantro and lime juice.
