  • Salsa (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced

Instructions

  1. Sear the Flank Steak: Set your Instant Pot to sauté mode. Add a splash of oil and sear the flank steak for about 3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  2. Sauté Aromatics: In the same pot, add sliced onions and minced garlic. Sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Season: Return the steak to the pot, sprinkle with taco seasoning, and pour in beef broth. Stir gently.
  4. Pressure Cook: Secure the lid and cook on high pressure for 40 minutes. Let it naturally release for 10 minutes before doing a quick release.
  5. Shred and Assemble: Remove steak and shred using two forks. Serve in warm tortillas topped with salsa, avocado slices, and cilantro.
