  • 1/2 cup white or red miso paste

  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • 1 cup water or broth

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together miso paste, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and brown sugar until smooth.
  2. Place the pork in a resealable bag; pour half the marinade over it. Seal and refrigerate for at least one hour (or overnight).
  3. Set the Instant Pot to 'Sauté' mode; add oil and sear the pork on all sides until browned (about 3-4 minutes per side).
  4. Remove the pork; add remaining marinade and water/broth to the pot. Return the pork to the pot.
  5. Close the lid; set to 'Pressure Cook' on high for about 60 minutes.
  6. Allow for natural pressure release (10-15 minutes). Slice pork against the grain and serve with green onions on top.
