  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups shredded whole milk mozzarella cheese
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated fresh Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a large baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Add garlic powder and oregano; drain excess fat.
  3. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce in the bottom of the baking dish. Layer noodles, half of the meat mixture, dollops of ricotta, and mozzarella. Repeat layers, finishing with noodles topped with remaining marinara and mozzarella.
  4. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  5. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
