Instructions
 

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F; if using the oven, preheat to 425°F and prepare a baking sheet.
  • Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
  • Set up your coating stations: Mix all-purpose flour with garlic powder, onion powder, and salt in one bowl; pour unsweetened plant milk into another bowl; place panko breadcrumbs in a separate dish.
  • Coat each floret by dredging it in the seasoned flour, then dipping it in plant milk, and finally rolling it in panko breadcrumbs.
  • Arrange the coated florets in a single layer in the air fryer basket, spraying lightly with cooking oil. Air fry for 15-18 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  • Meanwhile, whisk together all bang bang sauce ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
  • Toss the cooked cauliflower in the bang bang sauce right before serving, garnishing with green onions, sesame seeds, and cilantro.
