Instructions

Instructions

  • Start by rubbing Cajun seasoning all over the boneless skinless chicken breasts.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes per side, until golden brown. Remove and let them rest before slicing.
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook until al dente, following package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy cream and bring it gently to a simmer.
  • Gradually add the shredded mozzarella cheese, whisking continuously until melted and smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  • Toss the cooked linguine in the creamy sauce until fully coated.
  • Slice the rested chicken and place it on top of the pasta. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

Optional: Drizzle additional olive oil for extra richness. Ensure the heavy cream is hot but not boiling to avoid clumping.
