Ingredients
  

For the Filling

  • 1 lb Ground Beef can substitute with ground turkey
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese can substitute with ricotta or cottage cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese (Cheddar/Mozzarella) use a blend for complexity
  • 4 oz Turkey Bacon optional, can substitute with vegetarian bacon
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 2 tbl Fresh Herbs (Parsley/Chives) optional but recommended

For the Dough

  • 1 pkg Crescent Roll Dough can substitute with pizza dough

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef for about 8-10 minutes, breaking it apart until no longer pink.
  • Mix in the chopped turkey bacon along with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper; cook until bacon is crispy.
  • Gently fold in cream cheese and shredded cheese until well combined.
  • Roll out the crescent dough on a floured surface and cut it into triangles.
  • Spoon a generous amount of the beef filling onto the wider end of each triangle, roll tightly, and seal the edges well.
  • Place rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving, perfect with dipping sauces.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with different herbs and spices for added flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge.
