Ingredients
  

For the Meatballs

  • 1 lb Ground Chicken or Turkey Ground pork can be used as a substitute.
  • 1 Egg Acts as a binder.
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Panko preferred for a crispier result.
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced) Fresh garlic enhances the flavor.
  • 2 stalks Green Onions (finely chopped) Chives can be a tasty alternative.
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce Tamari for gluten-free option.
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha Sauce Adjust for desired spice level.
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil (optional) Offers a nutty flavor.

For the Hot Honey Glaze

  • 1/2 cup Honey Maple syrup can be used for variation.
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha Sauce Adjust for preferred heat.
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce Use gluten-free if necessary.
  • 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar or Lime Juice Apple cider vinegar is a good substitute.
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch Mix with water to form a slurry.
  • 1 tbsp Water Use for cornstarch slurry.

Instructions
 

Cooking Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, egg, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sriracha, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until incorporated.
  • Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on a lined baking sheet, spaced evenly.
  • Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • In a saucepan, combine honey, sriracha, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Heat until simmering.
  • Stir in the cornstarch slurry and simmer for another 1-2 minutes until thickened.
  • Toss the baked meatballs in the warm glaze until fully coated.
  • Plate the glazed meatballs, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.

Notes

Serve with toothpicks for easy eating and reserve some glaze for dipping.
